John Grant selected as one of the Top 10 stars of the future in this year's new music rundown in MOJO Magazine!

One of the recent signings to Bella Union, John Grant used to be lead singer in a band called the Czars, before he moved to New York to embark on a solo career, supporting the Flaming Lips and Midlake on a few US shows . He has been described by some as having one of the best male voices out there, up there with Neil Young, Robin Pecknold, Josh Tillman...

Grant will be releasing his solo album 'Queen of Denmark' this year. His songs are so familiar you are sure you already know them, like old friends, then a song so staggeringly emotional like TC & Honeybear hits you square in the mouth. Brilliantly observed songs like Chicken Bones, Silver Platter Club are like Randy Newman, and Sigourney Weaver and I Wanna Go To Marz elevate this to a level not many debut solo records have ever achieved.
