Television Room was born out of a studio experiment in Temple Bar, Dublin late in 2006. An idea conceived by Michael John Kavanagh and James O'Brien (formerly of The Marshalls). Weighing in at 3 minutes, thirty seconds of innovative indie pop with touches
of electronica, Ska and the occasional tango...the song would be the platform from which a new band was launched.
Through 2007 came Grace, Fergus and Mia into the mix and the line up made complete.
Currently working on a debut album, Television Room also storm the live circuit - headlining at Dublin's seminal Crawdaddy venue, supporting industry darlings the Hoosiers and Scouting For Girls. Noel McCabe of MCD came to see the band blowing away the crowd at 'Help A Dublin Child' and was so impressed he has shortlisted them for the Oxygen Festival this summer...
